Creating a New FTP Folder
This procedure contains information on how to create a new FTP folder.

This method creates a new FTP folder from scratch.
To create a new FTP Folder:
1. In the New FTP Folder Name field, type the name of the new FTP folder that you want to
create. The Add and Copy buttons become enabled.
2. Click the Add button to add the new FTP folder to the list below.
3. Add detail to your newly named FTP folder by completing the FOLDER OPTIONS section
of the page as they apply to this FTP folder.
4. Click the Apply button to accept your changes when you are done.
5. If you are configuring your AirSpeed 5000 server for the first time, the next step is to set up
view your Activation status (currently active features), and to activate additional options or
features for your AirSpeed 5000 server. For more information, see “The Activation Page” on
page 55.
Copying an Existing FTP Folder
This procedure contains information on how to quickly create a new FTP folder by using
information contained in an existing FTP folder. This can be done by copying the existing FTP
folder name, and then changing the name and settings to match how you want the new FTP
folder to appear.

This method of creating a new FTP folder can save time, as opposed to creating all of your new
FTP folders from scratch.
To copy an FTP folder:
1. Select the FTP folder name that you want to copy from the list.
2. Type a new name for the FTP folder in the New FTP Folder Name field.
3. Click the Copy button to add the new FTP folder to the list below.
The newly created FTP folder will appear in the list with the same attributes and settings as
the FTP folder you copied it from.
4. Modify the FTP folder on your newly named FTP folder by completing the FOLDER
OPTIONS section of the page as they apply to this FTP folder.
5. Click the Apply button to accept your changes when you are done.
