4 Connecting the FRITZ!Box

• Connect the FRITZ!Box to the power supply.

• Connect the FRITZ!Box to your Internet connection.

This chapter tells you how.

4.1 Connecting to Electrical Power

Connecting to the power supply

1. Pick up the power supply unit included in the FRITZ!Box

package.

2. Connect the power supply unit to the socket on the

FRITZ!Box labeled “Power”.

3. Plug the other end into an AC power outlet.

The “Power” LED begins flashing after a few seconds to indi-

cate that the FRITZ!Box is ready for operation.

Before you connect the FRITZ!Box, note the additional in-

structions in the section Security and Handling on page 12.
