2.7.3. CAN bus and serial interface
The CAN interface conforms to the ISO 11898 standard and can be operated up to the maximum baud rate of
1 Mbit/s. The lowest baud rate which can be set is 50 kBit/s.

NOTICE
A 120 terminal resistor can be connected between the CAN_L and
CAN_H connections.
This is necessary if the appropriate CAN interface is located at the beginning or
end of the relevant CAN bus topology.
NOTICE
The RS232 interface X3 has an exceptional position!
Depending on the configuration, it can be used either as a Linux console, or as
a PPP interface for remote maintenance, or as a CODESYS programming in-
terface.
If the controller is started in the configuration mode, the module can be configu-
red via a serial PPP connection in this mode. Here, too, the connection is made
via X3.
The serial interface is addressed in the software under the name of COM1.
