Type of Fabric Thread Size Needle Size
Helpful Hint
When stitches on top side
of fabric are good but
bottom side tends to have a bunch of thread
(as illustrated), the
upper thread is not threaded
CAUTION:To prevent accidents.
The feed dog will feed the fabric automatically.
Do not pull or push fabric with hands.
This could cause needle breakage or poor
quality stitches.

Light Weight-thin georgette, organdy,
viole, taffeta, silk, etc.
Medium Weight-gingham, pique, linen,
cotton, satin, thin corduroy, velvet

Stretch-double knit, tricot, spandex,
