Instruction/Operation Manual for SmartPool Aboveground Pool
Models: SPAG1852 and SPAG2452
NOTE: This instruction manual is for the aboveground pool only.
For additional equipment including, but not limited to, a pool
cleaner, ladder, filter system, light or alarm; please see the item's
individual manual for instruction, assembly and warranty
information.
IMPORTANT: Read the entire manual prior to assembling the
pool. Keep the instruction manual for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and Follow All Instructions
WARNINGS: Failure to follow these warning may result in injury
or death.
• Do not allow children or those who cannot swim to be in or
around the pool without supervision.
• Never swim alone.
• No diving or jumping into pool, especially off of deck surrounds
or raised objects.
• Remove the ladder from the pool or lock the ladder when the
pool is not in use.
• Do not leave floats or other objects in the pool when not in use
as this may attract children to the pool.
• Keep a 4' area around the pool clear to prevent objects from
being used to gain access to the pool, including pool equipment.
• Do not install the pool over or under power lines
• Do not install the pool on a slope as it may collapse (must be on
level ground).
• Never operate pool equipment from inside the pool or when wet.
• Do not allow children to operate pool equipment.
• Do not allow children to install/assembly the pool or any pool
equipment.
• Ensure the electrical work is installed by a professional and
follows local code requirements.
• Ensure the pool and the equipment is properly grounded by a
professional.
• Ensure that all local codes are followed including the location of
the pool with regards to boundary lines, structures, fence/
enclosures and pool alarms.
• Never use extension cords to run pool equipment.
• Never swim when thunderstorms are present or in close
proximity.
• Do not walk on the top ledge of the pool as falling can cause
serious injury/death and may damage the pool.
• Set ground rules for water play to ensure children are playing
safely in and around the pool.
• Keep water clean, within sanitary limits as instructed by a pool
professional to ensure safe usage by swimmers and to maintain
the structural integrity of the pool.
• Ensure sufficient lighting is used at night for safe swim
conditions and visibility of all swimmers.
FIRST AID
It is good practice to have the following phone numbers readily
available or posted near the pool in case of emergency:
• Nearest available police, fire and or rescue department
• Nearest available physician
• Nearest available EMS or ambulance department
• Nearest available hospital
It is also recommended to become certified in CPR, especially if
children will be using the pool as immediately administering CPR
can save a life.
