FANGO CERAMIC BASINS
Our ceramic basins are hand made
on a potters wheel of completely
lead free materials. The beautiful
designs are applied by talented
Argentinian artisans. A protective
matte glaze is applied to the interior
surface of the bowl before firing at
19000 F for 10 hours to produce a
stone like appearance. While the
outer surface is not glazed, it is
waterproof. Each basin is truly one
of a kind from the hand spun shaping
to the finishing touches.
Care and Maintenance
The ceramic surface is very easy to maintain. Simply clean with a soft
cloth or sponge using a mild soap and warm water. Be sure to rinse
thoroughly and wipe dry. A general purpose cleaner can be used for
more heavy duty cleaning. Avoid strong cleansers with acids or other
chemicals that could damage the colors in your basin.
