Operation
Depending on the objects to be transported in the outdoor case, these objects must be secured
inside the case accordingly, e.g. using foam cubes or the like.
The outdoor case is delivered with corresponding foam inserts which can be adjusted to the shape
of the object to be transported.
Several outdoor cases of the same size can be stacked on top of each other. However, make sure
the stack of cases cannot topple over.
• The outdoor case is not protected against salt water, chemicals, acids and bases.
Close the outdoor case carefully using the fastening straps to prevent that dust or humidity enters
the case.
When closing the case, make sure no objects are jammed between the halves of the case
shell!
Furthermore, lock the rotary knob for the pressure compensation; otherwise water/moisture may get
into the case. For this purpose, turn the knob to the right, in clockwise direction.
The rotary knob on the outdoor case is used to compensate the pressure prior to opening the outdoor
case when it has been transported at greatly varying altitudes.
Move the knob counter-clockwise to open the valve.
The outdoor case can be secured against unauthorised opening using the lugs on the case and a
U-lock (not included in the package).
At very low temperatures, the plastic material (PP) gets brittle and make crack easily when the case
is dropped onto a hard floor.
Cleaning
Clean the product only with a soft, clean cloth dampened with water. If the product is very dirty, you
can use a mild detergent to remove the soiling.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be
damaged (discoloured).
Disposal
At the end of its serviceable life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
requirements.

In spite of its very solid design, the case must not be used to sit on or as a replacement
of a step tread or ladder. There is a risk of damage to the product. Furthermore, this
involves risks of injury.
During the transport of the outdoor case, observe the applicable requirements or regula-

If you transport heavy objects in the outdoor case, use suitable auxiliary means if neces-

Furthermore, there is a high risk of injury.
Always place the outdoor case in such a way that it cannot topple over or slide away.
Select an even, level and suf ciently large surface for setting up the case.
Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a dan-
gerous plaything for children.
