After switching on, the device will carry out a selftest and will then display the value
“0”. The
hanging scale is now ready for use.
Avoid that the load is vibrating, moving or exposed to other forces (6).
If the display (2) after being switched on shows a reading other than “0”, turn the
hanging scale off and then on again.
Use the UNIT button (3), to change the measuring unit. Every time you press this button, a
different unit will be selected (g> oz> kg> lb).
The selected unit is shown in the display (2) above the measured value.
The last set unit remains selected after switching the device off.
Hang the object on to the weighing hook (6).
Once the measured value is stable, it is shown in the display (2).
If the measuring range was exceeded, the display (2) shows “EEEE”. In such a
case, remove the load immediately to prevent damage to the hanging scale.
The measured value is stored for a few seconds. During this time the display (2) shows
“HOLD”.
Press the “CLEAR” button (4) to reset the memory.
This function can also be used to prevent that the weight of any containers is not included
when weighing the load (tare function).
- Attach the container rst to the weighing hook (6).
- Once the measuring value is displayed, press the button “TARE” (4).
- The display will reset and you can now weigh the actual load by putting it into the container.
