Tub, Tile, Wall Surround, & Sink Repair Kit

A. Porcelain & Ceramic

Step 1: CLEAN THOROUGHLY! Scrub throughly with Ajax or

Comet paying special attention to heavy soap areas. Note: Any

soap residue left behind will prevent bonding and cause failure.

Step 2: Use Bathworks EZ Etch Kit to remove any residual

finish/shine that remains on porcelain or ceramic surfaces prior

to the refinishing process. Let the EZ Etch sit on the desired

surface for approximately 20 minutes.

Step 3: Using a sponge or scrubby pad rinse thoroughly. While

area is still damp, sand using 120 grit or 220 grit sandpaper.

Rinse well.

Step 4: Dry thoroughly. Note: Any moisture while spraying will

result in failure

B. Fiberglass, Plastic, Acrylic

Step 1: CLEAN THOROUGHLY! Scrub throughly with Ajax or

Comet paying special attention to heavy soap areas. Note:

Any soap residue left behind will prevent bonding and cause

failure.

Step 2: Use 120 or 220 grit sandpaper to remove any shine or

gloss. Be cautious of leaving scratch marks from the

sandpaper of any grit! All fiberglass, plastic, or acrylic fixtures

are not the same, and some are softer than others.

Step 3: Sponge or rinse any residual dust and debris. Dry

thoroughly. Note: Any moisture while spraying will result in

failure
