GB 1. Water connection Connection to the mains water supply must be carried out by a qualified technician in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable local safety regulations. All local water board regulations must be complied with. Water supply pressure: 0.03 - 1.0 MPa. The inlet hose must be securely clamped to the water tap to prevent leaks. The inlet water temperature varies according to the model installed. Inlet hose marked: "25°C Max": up to a maximum of 25°C.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION 1) For Great Britain only Warning - this appliance must be earthed Fuse replacement If the mains lead of this appliance is fitted with a BS 1363A 13amp fused plug, to change a fuse in this type of plug use an A.S.T.A. approved fuse to BS 1362 type and proceed as follows: 1. Remove the fuse cover (A) and fuse (B). 2. Fit replacement 13A fuse into fuse cover. 3. Refit both into plug.

Before using the dishwasher, read the installation and maintenance instructions carefully! GB GSI 7990 1. OVERVIEW Fault indication and wash time display In normal operation it indicates the remaining time (h:mm), whereas with “Delayed start” selected it indicates the time remaining until programme start (hh). If “F..” appears on the display, see chapter 5 “What to do if...”. Delayed Start button Press the button (repeatedly) to delay the start of the programme. Adjustable from 1 to 24 hours.

Select a programme Press the button “Select programme” or the programme selector to display the selected programme. If required, select possible options. 3. 3. HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE PROGRAMME SELECTION Press the button “Select programme” or the programme selector to display the selected programme. The appliance must be switched on. If required, select possible options. The corresponding indicator lights up. The correct programme and the selectable functions are given in table 1.1 on page 1. Programme times stated in the table were obtained under normal conditions and may vary depending on conditions.
3. HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE c. How to adjust the rinse aid dosage regulator The rinse aid dosage can be adjusted to the detergent used. The lower the setting, the less rinse aid is dispensed (factory setting: position 4). Press the lever 2 to open the cover. Using a coin or similar object, turn the arrow to the desired setting. After adjusting the rinse aid setting, shut the cover again. If there are streaks: reduce the dosage by turning the dial to a lower setting (1-3).
3. HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE HOW TO LOAD THE RACKS CUTLERY RACK: May be used in two different positions. Position 1 Position 2 In position 2 the upper rack must be lowered (see “Upper rack height adjustment” C below). For optimum washing results, position cutlery as shown (handles of spoons facing inwards). Beware of sharp/pointed items. Risk of injury! 4. PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Packing The packaging materials are 100% recyclable and marked with the recycling symbol. . 2. Removing the packaging and inspecting the contents After unpacking, make sure that the dishwasher is undamaged and that the door closes correctly. If in doubt, contact a qualified technician or your local retailer. 3. Before using the dishwasher for the first time - The appliance is designed to operate at ambient temperatures of between 5°C and 45°C.
5. WHAT TO DO IF... If a fault occurs, before contacting the After-sales Service, make the following checks to try and remedy the problem. Most faults can be remedied by taking the following courses of action, quickly restoring normal appliance operation. The appliance... Possible causes/solutions ...is not working/will not start - The appliance must be switched on. Check the household circuit fuse if there is no power supply. The dishwasher door must be closed.
5. WHAT TO DO IF... Crockery and cutlery ... Possible causes/solutions ...are not perfectly clean/have food residues - ...have deposits: - regeneration salt residue - In the event of frequent use of low temperature programmes (50°C or lower) (if available), every now and again select a higher temperature programme The spray arms must not be clogged, the filters must not be dirty and must be fitted correctly (see the instructions in “Maintenance and installation”).
