WARNING:
Feed jams are dangerous!
!
WARNING:
If the airgun does not fire, do not assume that
the magazine is empty.
WHENEVER THERE IS A FEED JAM, ENGAGE THE SAFETY!
MAKE
SURE THAT THE MUZZLE IS POINTING IN A SAFE DIRECTION.
A feed jam can have various causes:
1.
A pellet is lodged in the barrel
Engage the safety, remove the magazine and push the pellet out of the
barrel using a cleaning brush (cleaning rod) (see Fig. 6).
2. A pellet is lodged between the magazine and the barrel
Decock the gun and engage the safety. Remove the magazine by
pulling it down forcefully while pressing the magazine catch. Point the
gun in a safe direction and shoot a few times without the magazine.
This should release the diabolo. If the gun remains jammed, push
the diabolo back through the muzzle using a cleaning brush. Check
whether the diabolos are loaded correctly in the magazine. Reload your
gun as described in 5.1.
