System Overview
The C1000 Touch thermal cycler base (Figure 1) includes:
Reaction module bay — holds the inserted reaction module
Reaction module locking bar —locks reaction module in place
Touchscreen display— provides access to all the functions needed to create and
run PCR protocols
USB A port — connects to a USB flash drive, mouse, or keyboard
Air intake vents — allow the thermal cycler to heat and cool quickly
