System Overview
The C1000 Touch thermal cycler base (Figure 1) includes:
• Reaction module bay — holds the inserted reaction module
• Reaction module locking bar —locks reaction module in place
• Touchscreen display— provides access to all the functions needed to create and
run PCR protocols
• USB A port — connects to a USB flash drive, mouse, or keyboard
• Air intake vents — allow the thermal cycler to heat and cool quickly
