2. In the Step Options window, touch the Gradient checkbox. A check mark will appear in
the gradient checkbox and the gradient range will appear (Figure 14).

3. Touch any gradient temperature to change the value by using the pop-up numeric
keypad.
NOTE: A gradient range must be between 1 and 24°C.
NOTE: A gradient step can also include an Extend parameter but cannot include
parameters such as Increment, Beep, or Ramp Rate.
4. Touch the OK button to continue.
5. Once a step has a gradient, the upper and lower temperatures can be edited by touching
either button and using the gradient editor window (Figure 15).

To remove the temperature gradient:
1. Select the gradient step and then touch the Options button.
The Step Options window opens.
2. Touch the Gradient checkbox to remove the check mark.
