Preparing to Run a Protocol
To start a run, use one of the following methods:
Select a protocol from the saved files library, then touch the Run button
Edit a protocol from the saved files library, then touch the Run button
Create a new protocol, then touch the Run button
1. If more than one block is connected to the C1000 Touch
TM
thermal cycler, the select
blocks window opens.
2. Select the reaction module blocks on which to run the protocol by touching the
checkbox next to the desired blocks. Alternatively, touch the Select All button to select
all available blocks. A check mark appears in the checkbox to indicate that a block is
selected.
3. When running a protocol on more than one block, determine whether you want to start
blocks individually or simultaneously. Touch the Confirm all blocks individually
checkbox when starting the runs at different times.
4. Touch the OK button to confirm.
