CLEANING THE FILTERS
We recommend regular lter cleaning for optimal
performance.
Every few weeks, check the condition of both
lters.
After approximately 3 months of operation, the
lter service indicator icon
K
will appear on
the LCD display to alert you to clean the lters
before further use.
Depending on use, the lters should be
replaced after approximately 12 months.
Pre-lter
If you are replacing the lter, remove any packaging
from the new lter before tting.
1. Switch off and unplug your air purier from the
supply socket.
2. Referring to gure 2, press the rear grille latch

down and remove the rear grille

3. Remove the pre-lter
U
from the inside of the
rear grille.
4. Wash the pre-lter in warm soapy water.
5. Allow the lter to dry naturally on a at surface.
6. Once thoroughly dry, ret the pre-lter into the
rear grille then replace the rear grille onto your
air purier.
HEPA-type lter
If you are replacing the lter, remove any packaging
from the new lter before tting.
IMPORTANT: Do not use water, household puriers
or detergents to clean the lter. The lter may appear
discolored, even after vacuuming. This is normal and
does not affect performance in any way.
1. Switch off and unplug your air purier from the
supply socket.
2. Referring to gure 2, press the rear grille latch

down and remove the rear grille

3. Remove the HEPA-type lter
V
from your air
purier.
4. Using your vacuum cleaner, run the brush
attachment along both sides of the lter and
clean between the pleated layers.
5. After cleaning, ret the HEPA-type lter then the
rear grille.
Resetting the lter service indicator icon
1. With your air purier switched on, reset the lter
service indicator icon

by inserting a small
object (such as a pin or paper clip) into the
hole for the lter reset button

service indicator icon goes out.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Solution
The unit will not
operate
Make sure that the unit is
plugged in and switched
on
Decreased air ow Make sure that nothing is
blocking the air inlet or air
outlet.
Check the condition of the
lters and clean them if
necessary.
Make sure that the air
intake grill is at least 30 to
90 cm from the wall.
Filter appears dirty,
even after vacuum-
ing clean
This is normal and does
not affect performance in
any way. A new lter is not
necessary.
The lter service
indicator icon is still
on after cleaning
the lters.
