CLR 40 · Before turning on the power for the first time, make sure the power adaptor is properly connected. For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer any servicing to qualified personnel. Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user serviceable parts inside, refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

CLR 40 AC POWER Please check carefully the rated voltage of your appliance matches your local voltage. Plug the AC cord into the standard household electrical socket. BATTERY BACKUP The clock and alarm settings can be protected against AC power failure by 2 “AAA” battery (not included). In the event of a power failure, the display is blank, the clock will continue to operate and the actual time will be maintained. The Clock LCD display and other functions will resume once electrical power is restored. 1.

CLR 40 SETTING TIME AND DATE 1. Press & hold SET button for around 2 seconds until the display flash and entered the year setting. 2. Press SCAN+ or SCAN- until the correct year appears in the display. 3. Press SET to confirm 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the month, day and time. Notes: After setting the minute the clock starts from 0 seconds. But if you do not set "Minute", the clock does not start from 0 second RADIO OPERATION 1. CLR 40 SETTING DUAL ALARMS FUNCTIONS Notes • Before setting the alarm time, make sure the Clock has been set • Alarm can only be set in Clock mode only • When setting the alarm to wake up by Radio, Radio station & volume level will be the same as the last radio operation. (See “RADIO OPERATION"). • The ALARM 1 (or Alarm 2) indicator flashes in the display when the alarm sounds. • Alarm 1 (or/and Alarm2) icon appears when the alarm activated, disappear when disabled.
CLR 40 SLEEP TIMER The sleep function allows to play in blocks of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 70, 80 or 90 minutes before shutting off automatically. When in the Radio mode, press the SLEEP button repeatedly until the desired preset time appears on the display (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 minutes).
