Use and Care Manual

In areas of high trafc, use area rugs to keep wear to
a minimum. Be sure to move the rugs periodically to
maintain an even color to your nish. Ensure the rugs
have a breathable backing with a mesh grid pattern
which allows the oor to breathe and are approved
for hardwood oor nishes.
Put mats at all entrances to keep dirt and moisture
off the oor. Use felt pads, wide vinyl pads or rubber
rollers on the legs of furniture.
Protect
07
Of high heel shoes that have lost their protective cap
and small stones as they can scratch and gouge your
oor’s surface. Excessive sunlight should be blocked
with blinds or drapes.
Wet mopping and excessive water is also harmful to
your oor.
