Sources

primary
method
of

Unplug

cord

Cord
Protection
-
Power-supply
cords
should
be

te
d
so
that

ey
are
not
likely
to
be
walked
on
or
pinched
by
items
placed
upon
or
against

hem,
paying
particular
attention
to
cords
at
plugs,
con
v
enie
nce
recepta
cl
es,
and
the
point
where
they
exit
from
the
product.
_Outdoor
Antenna
Grounding
-
If
an
outside
antenna
or
cable
system
is
connected
to
the
product
,
be
sure
the
antenna
or
cable
system
is
grounded
so
as
to
pro
v
ide
some
protection
against
voltage
surges
and
built-up
static
charges.

the

requirements
for
the
grounding
electrode.
_Lightning
-
For
added
protection
for

his
product
dur
ing
a lightni

storm,
or
when
it
is

unattended
and
unused
for
long
periods

unplug
it
from
the
wall
outlet
and
disconnect
the
antenna
or
cable
system.

system

vicinity

installing
an
outside

system,
extreme
care
