Recommended
Gasoline
Use
regular leaded or unleaded gasoline
available from all service stations.

CAUTION: Never experiment with
T different fuel, never use naphtha,
methanol, gasohol or similar products .
WARNING: Never
"top
up"
the
gas tank before placing the vehi-
cle
in
a warm area.
At
certain temper-
atures, gasoline will expand and over-
flow.
Always wipe off any gasoline
spill-
age from
the
snowmobile.
Recommended
Oil
Use
"Bombardier Snowmobile Injection
Oil"

from the dealer. This type of oil will flow
at temperatures
as

as

40°C
(-40°F).
If "Bombardier Snowmobile Injection Oil"
is
unavailable, substitute with BLIZZARD
OIL.

CHECK

Check
Points
ACTIVATE
THE
THROTTLE
CONTROL
LEVER
SEVERAL
TIMES
to check that
it operates easily and smoothly. The
throttle control lever must return to
idle position when released.
Check that the skis and the track are
not frozen to the ground or snow sur-
face and that steering operates
freely.
Activate the brake control lever and
make sure the brake fully applies be-
fore the brake control lever touches
the handlebar grip.
Check injection oil level.
Check gas level.
Verify that the path ahead
of
the ve-
hicle
is
clear of bystanders and ob-
stacles.
WARNING: Only start the snow-
mobile once
all
components are
checked and functioning properly.
