Fan Belt
Inspect belt for cracks, uneven wear, etc.
Check fan belt tension a 9-10 mm (3/8")
deflection should exist.
If belt seems damaged or if tension
is in-
correct, contact the dealer immediately.

WARNING: If fan protector
is re-
moved, always reinstall after ser-
vicing.
Headlamp Beam Aiming
The angle of the head lamp beam has been
pre-adjusted prior to delivery. Should a re-
adjustment is necessary, place the vehicle
on a flat surface 7.6 m
(25') from a wall
or screen.
With the suspension correctly adjusted,
the rider seated on the vehicle and the
high beam
ON check that the center of
high intensity zone of high beam is 50
mm (2") below horizontal line of head-
lamp height.

To adjust, remove the four caps, turn up-
per or lower adjusting screws to obtain
desired beam position.
