PRE-SEASON
PREPARATION------------
To
simplify the
pre-season
preparation we
have drawn up a small chart. The chart
indicates servicing points to
be
performed
by
you
and
your
dealer.
If these services
are
performed
as
suggested, your vehicle
will give many hours of fun
and
low cost
use.

Reinstall
battery
(electric starting)
Change spark
plugs*
Check chaincase oil level
Replace fuel
filter
(located inside fuel
tank)
Check
track
tension
and
alignment
Lubricate suspension
Inspect drive belt and install
IMPORTANT:
Observe
all
Warnings and
Cautions
mentioned
throughout
this
manual
which
are
pertinent
to
the item
being checked. When component con-
ditions seem less than satisfactory, re-
place
with
genuine Bombardier parts or
suitable equivalents.

alignment
and ski runner
condition

starting

all bolts,
nuts

damage and free operation

wiring
(broken wire, damaged insulation)

Replace injection oil

Refill injection oil

and operation

engine
timing
Check pulleys,
verify
components
and clean. Lubricate
Adjust
carburetors

oil injection

*NOTE: Before installing new spark plugs, it
is
suggested to burn the excess
storage oil
by
starting the engine, using the old spark plugs.
