Flow and return applications
The Bosch 32 has a durable heat exchanger that allows
it to withstand the frequent low-fire rates of a flow and
return system.
To reduce water wastage, a flow and return system will
circulate hot water through the pipe work of the property
to ensure hot water is immediately available when a tap is
opened.
A thermostat placed in the pipe work at a distant point
to the heater activates a pump when water temperature
drops below a set point, thus activating the appliance.
Bosch supplies Wilo dual secondary pump systems
and thermostats to be installed in flow and return
applications. For the performance of these pumps please
refer page 36.
The pump will need to be purchased separately, however
no additional accessory is necessary. A safety valve
is mandatory and expansion vessel recommended for
recirculating systems.
Use with renewables
A Bosch 32 series water heaters are designed to work
with pre-heated water from, for example a solar thermal
system or heat pump system.
