Problem Explanation Solution
A green square appears
intermittently at the upper
right of the video output.
This is the Flat Field Imminent
Symbol. It warns that FFC is about
to begin.
Do nothing; this is
normal operation for
the thermal camera.
The thermal image
appears ’grainy’.
This often occurs when the
temperature of the camera
fluctuates, such as after the camera
is powered on, or when ambient
temperature is changing.
Perform a flat-field
correction (FFC).
