26. Unplug the small 4-pin connector from DPS module.
27. Set DPS dip switches for vehicle year and audio
system type (4 or 6 speaker):
A. 2014-present Corolla 4 speaker dip switch
settings. The second and fifth switches should
be flipped to the “up” position “DUDDU”:
B. 2014-present Corolla 6 speaker dip switch
settings. The first, second, and fifth switches
should be flipped to the “up” position
“UUDDU”:
C. 2010-13 Corolla 4 speaker dip switch settings.
The second switch should be flipped to the “up”
position “DUDDD”:
D. 2010-13 Corolla 6 speaker dip switch settings.
The first and second switches should be flipped
to the “up” position – “UUDDD”:
28. Plug the small 4-pin connector back into the DPS
module and wait 10 seconds. (Note: There should
again be no sound from the speakers). Unplug the
4-pin connector from the DPS module and wait
another 10 seconds.
29. Again, plug the 4-pin connector back into the DPS
module. (Note: After a short delay, there should
now be sound from the speakers). Ensure radio
head unit is working properly including all speaker
channels.
30. Turn ignition key to “LOCK” (OFF) and remove key.
31. Secure DPS module using supplied 24” wire ties.
Slide wire ties through slits previously made in
carpet, pull tight, and use side cutters to trim
excess.
32. Re-install removed parts in reverse order of removal.
33. Re-torque seat bolts to 31 foot lbs. IMPORTANT: If
you removed any of the seat connectors, the
occupant safety settings must be recalibrated.
34. Reconnect negative battery cable using 10mm
socket. Re-torque battery bolt to 36 inch lbs.
35. Use a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water to clean dash
surface before installing DPS badge.
