Add-A-Circuit
Addendum
Please read
thoroughly
before starting installation
and check
that
kit
contents are complete.
Items added
to
this
kit:
Add-a-circuit
power
tap w/
2amp
fuse
Safety
Precautions:
Work
in
well
ventilated
area
that
is
clear
of
obstructions.
Secure
vehicle
with tire
chucks
in
both
front
and
rear
of
tires.
Turn
vehicle
accessories
OFF
and
ensure
ignition
key
is
in
OFF
position.
Wear
safety
goggles
and
snug
fitting
clothes.
Use
tools
only
for their
intended
purpose
and
which
are
in
good
repair.
Only
perform
this
task
if
confidence,
skill,
and
physical
ability
permit.
1.
The
fuse
holder/Add-a-circuit
is
an
ATM
style
fuse.
Check
the
fuse
box
of
the
vehicle
to
see
if
it
has
the
same
style
fuses.
2.
If
you
have
different
style
fuses,
follow the instructions
provided
in
this kit for
power
connections
in
the
vehicle.
3.
If
you
have
the
same
style
fuses,
use
a computer
safe
test light or Digital voltmeter to find a
fuse
that
is
accessory
power.
(The fuse will change from ground when the key is off,
to
12
volts
when the key is turned on).
4.
Remove
the
fuse
and
place
into the
open
spot
on
the
Add-a-circuit.
5.
Insert
the
Add-a-circuit
in
to the
fuse
box
where the
fuse
was
just
removed
from.
6.
Connect
the black wire
of
the
Freedom
Charge
module
to a
clean
solid
ground.
