PewerRatings: The gross power rating for individual gas engine models is labeledin accordancewith SAE(Society of
Automotive Engineers)code J1940 (Small EnginePower & Torque Rating Procedure),and rating performance hasbeen
obtained and corrected in accordancewith SAEJ1995 (Revision 2002-05). Torquevalues arederived at 3060 RPM; horsepower
valuesare derived at 3600 RPM. Actual gross enginepower will be lower and is affected by, among other things, ambient
operating conditions and engine-to-enginevariability. Given both the wide array of products on which enginesare placed and
the variety of environmental issuesapplicableto operating the equipment, the gas enginewill not developthe rated gross power
when used in a given pieceof power equipment (actual "on-site"or net power). This difference is dueto a variety of factors
including, but not limited to, accessories (air cleaner, exhaust, charging, cooling, carburetor, fuel pump, etc.), application
limitations, ambient operating conditions (temperature, humidity, altitude), and engine-to-enginevariability. Due to
manufacturing and capacity limitations, Briggs & Stratton may substitute an engine of higher rated powerfor this Series engine.
* This generator is rated in accordancewith CSA(CanadianStandardsAssociation) standard 022.2 No, 100-04 (motors and
generators).
