The procedure for entering SMC and SRC values is:
1) From the main screen, press SELECT SPDL. Note that the spindle select screen (Figure 7) will
display the last entered spindle.
2) Enter “99” using the numeric entry keys.
3) Press SELECT SPDL and Figure D1 is displayed.

Note that the values for the last entered SMC and SRC coefficients will be displayed at this
time if you had previously entered values for these coefficients.
4) Enter the SMC value.
5) Press the NEXT key to accept the SMC entry. The cursor will move to the SRC field.
6) Enter the SRC value.
7) Press the NEXT key to accept the SRC value (the cursor will move back to the SMC field).
8) Press the SELECT SPDL key to accept both entries. This will return you to the main screen
and SPINDLE 99 will be displayed. Please note that an attempt to press the SELECT SPDL
key with invalid SMC and SRC entries results in an error message being displayed.
