With the engine off, but still warm, disconnect the spark plugs and remove the key. Remove the oil drain plug and drain the used oil into an approved container. Although unlikely, there have been service calls where items gather in the lower inlet muffler. These items range from rodents to large debris. You can not look through the muffler and see these. The only way to check this is to remove the couplings on each side of the muffler and turn it on the ends and tap it.
