NOTICE
• Do not strike or hammer on any component of the bearing
and/or shaft. Impact can result in damage to the bearing
that may cause reduction in bearing performance and may
lead to equipment failure.
Step 1: Inspect and Prepare Housing
To achieve proper bearing t, the housing should be ma-
chined to the correct bore size. For recommended housing
bore sizes, refer to page G-259. The housing bearing seat
should be wiped clean and free of debris.
Step 2: Install Unit in Housing
Press bearing into housing by applying force to the face of
the housing, or the face of the outer ring for ER style bear-
ings.
Do not hammer on any component of the bearing or apply
force to the inner ring.
Step 3: Refer to Steps 1 - 6 from the
