TUBE PIERCING
ATTACHMENT
Optional tool for CRT. With any
CRT and special access V-Series
tting, a tube can be pierced and a
core inserted into V tting below.
INSTRUCTIONS
Tube Piercing Attachment:
1. Braze V-Series tting onto line
2. Attach main body of CRT
to tting
3. Attach TPA to the CRT body,
screw down needle to pierce
hole in tubing until it bottoms
out – it will not go through the
other side of tube
4. Pull back TPA handle
5. Shut off system with CRT shut
off valve
6. Remove TPA from the CRT
7. Attach regular CRT rod with core
8. Open shut-off valve, screw core
into V tting and remove CRT
