Cover all electrical components before washing with
high-pressure water jets.
Only for F3CE0684B*E003 engine
Handle all parts with great care. Never put your
hands or fingers between one part and another.
Wear suitable personal protective equipment such
as a visor, gloves and safety shoes.

ENGINE OVERHAUL PROCEDURE
Disassembling
Using an appropriate tool, regulate the belt tightener (2) to
release the pressure and remove the belt (1) for controlling
various parts.
Loosen the locking screws and remove the compressor (1)
complete with its support (2) from the engine.
Loosen the locking screws and remove the alternator (3).
Loosen the locking screws and remove the alternator support
(4) from the engine.
Remove:
- the fixed belt tightening roller (1);
- the support (2);
- the automatic belt tightener (3);
- the damping flywheel (4) and the pulley beneath it;
- all the coolant pipes (5);
- the water pump (6);
- the fixed belt tightening roller (7);
- the thermostat assembly (8).
Before securing the engine to the rotary stand, remove: the
electrical cable of the engine (2) by unplugging it from the
control unit (1) and from all sensors transmitters to which it
is connected.
