Before You Start Using This Machine

● If login authentication by the SDL or SSO
login service is set:
❑ The Start Up screen is displayed until the machine is
ready to scan.
❑ After the Start Up screen disappears, the MEAP
Start Up screen is displayed regardless of the Initial
Function settings. (The background colour of the
screen is changed to brown.)
IMPORTANT
•
If you turn OFF the main power, wait at least 10 seconds
before turning the main power back ON.
•
Do not turn the main power OFF if the Universal Send Kit
is activated, and you want to be able to send or receive
I-fax documents. Sending or receiving I-fax documents
cannot be done when the power is turned OFF.
•
If SSO or SDL is set as the login service, the machine
will take longer to become ready to scan.
