Common, Convenient Features
Image
Display
during
Playback
Each set
of
images shot continuously is managed as a single group,
and only the first image
in
that group
will
be displayed.
To
indicate that
the image is part
of
a group,
[Iii~]
is
displayed
in
the upper
left
of
the
screen. For instructions
on
viewing grouped images, refer to the electronic
manual.
CD·
If
you erase a grouped image
((JJ20), all
images in the group
are also
erased. Be
careful
when erasing images.
Changing
the
Aspect
Ratio

Change
the image aspect ratio (ratio of width to height) as
follows.
16:9
3:2
4:3
1:1
4:5

Press the
[@]
button.
Press the
[..&.]['Y]
buttons to choose
[3=2].
Choose
the desired option (either press
the [
~][~]
buttons or turn the
[eJ
dial),
and then press the
[@l
button.
Once
the setting
is
complete, the screen
aspect ratio will be updated.
To
restore the original setting, repeat this
process but choose
[3:2].
Used for display
on
widescreen HDTVs or similar display devices.
Native aspect ratio
of
the camera screen. Same
aspect ratio as
35mm film, used for printing images at 5
x 7 -inch or postcard
sizes.
Used for display on standard-definition televisions or similar
display devices. Also used for printing images at 3.5 x 5-inch or
A-series sizes.
Square aspect ratio.
Aspect ratio commonly used for portraits.
