Troubleshooting
SYSTEM ERROR Some kind of error has
occurred in the machine.
Turn off the main power
switch, wait for more than 10
seconds, then turn it on
again. If the message
persists, unplug the machine
from the power supply and
contact your local authorized
Canon dealer.
TONER LOW
PREPARE NEW TONER
The toner is running low. Prepare a new toner
cartridge.
TRANSMITTING... During the current
transmission, the machine
may have tried to send a
document identified from the
list of documents in memory.
Wait until the transmission
from memory is complete.
WASTE TONER FULL
REPLACE THE DRUM
The drum unit is filled with
waste toner.
Replace the drum unit. (See
“Replacing the Drum Unit,”
on p. 12-12.)
