Handling rolls
Loading the Roll in the Printer
Follow these steps to load rolls in the printer .
Note
• Remove any loaded paper that will not be used.
• Rolls: ( → P .1 19)
• Sheets: ( → P .167)
• If the Platen is dirty , clean inside the T op Cover . ( → P .627)
• If the Output T ray Extension is extended, push it in.
1. Insert your ngers under the V ertical Paper Guides on the Output T ray at the positions shown
(a) and lift the guides.
2. Open the Roll Feed Unit Cover with one hand, as shown.
