8.12 Pinch Roller and Load Lever Driving System
Unhook the pinch roller spring (7010C) and remove the pinch roller
lever (7010A, Fig. 8.29).
Undo the screw (Pos. 70410), disengage the two clamps S and
remove the cassette lid opener (70400, Fig. 8.29).
Disengage the clamp R of the cassette lid opener (70400) and
remove the pinch roller control lever (7010B, Fig. 8.29).
Pull off the pinch roller cam gear (70300, Fig. 8.29).
Remove the retaining washer (50710), remove the load lever
(Pos. 50700) and the load lever spring (50800, Fig. 8.29).
Slide the pinch roller rack gear (70200) fully backwards and remove
it (Fig. 8.29).
Assembly notes:
Insert one end of the load lever spring (50800) into hole
T of the mechanism chassis and hook the other end to
the load lever (50700) as shown in Fig. 8.30.
After fitting the control slide (70200) push this in direc-
tion of the arrow to its end stop (Fig. 8.29).
Position the cam gear of the pinch roller (70300) and the
relay gear of the pinch roller (70600) as shown in
Fig. 8.31.
Tighten the screw (70410) with a torque of 5.0 to
6.0kg/cm.
Notes on lubricating the pinch roller and load lever driving
system
Always use the grease with part number 75988 061 7800 for lubri-
cating the mechanical parts of the threading roller units and follow
the lubrication instructions given in Fig. 8.32 – Fig. 8.35!
