Apply grease (75988 061 7800)
to the shaded parts

8.13 R/P Head Assy (Pos. 50200)
Undo the screw (Pos. 50210), press the R/P head assy
(Pos. 50200) in the direction of the arrow as shown in Fig. 8.36 and
remove it upwards.
Note: Align the hole U of the R/P head assy (Pos. 50200) and pin
V on the mechanism chassis.
Subsequently, adjust the tape path and tracking position
(X value, refer to point 9. „Adjustments“).

8.14 Tape Drum (11000)
Undo two screws (30000), remove the stator (22000) and the tape
drum earth spring (11600, Fig. 8.37).
When turning the mechanism upside down now, the carbon chip
(11500) will fall out (Fig. 8.37).
Undo two screws (30000) and remove the rotor (Pos. 21000, Fig.
8.37).
Undo the three screws (10400) at the bottom of the mechanism and
take the complete tape drum (11000) out (Fig. 8.38).
Refitting: When refitting the tape drum (11000) align it to match with
the two dowels Y of the mounting base on the mechanism
chassis (Fig. 8.38).
Tighten the screws (10400) using a torque of 3.9 to
4.2kg/cm.

Note: On reassembling the rotor (21000) the phase must be
adjusted to that of the headwheel. The hole W of the
headwheel and the hole X of the rotor (21000) must be on
the same side as shown in Fig. 8.39.
Tighten the screws (30000) for attaching the rotor (21000)
and the stator (22000) using a torque of 2.5 to 3.5kg/cm.
