34O CEILING Mounting Options OPTION 1 If you have a flat ceiling: Standard Mounting 1. You will need a longer downrod (sold separately). 2. If your ceiling angle is greater than 34°, you will also need an Angled Mounting Kit (sold separately). Option 1 Downrod www.CasablancaFanCo.com FAN FALL HAZARD To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH: Option 3 Included (pre-assembled) If you need a different downrod length follow these steps: Longer Downrod for angled ceilings or ceilings 10’ or higher Steps 1-5 to remove standard downrod pipe 1 2 3 • ALWAYS follow the downrod assembly instructions exactly. • VERIFY the downrod is assembled correctly by firmly pulling on the hanger ball.

Remove the pre-installed setscrew so that the downrod can be inserted. WARNING The wires can be cut, but leave at least 8” extending from the top of the downrod. Hand tighten the downrod (at least 4-5 full turns) until it stops.

Wiring Note: To connect the wires, hold the bare metal leads together and place a wire connector over them, then twist clockwise until tight. www.CasablancaFanCo.com 1.888.227.2178 OM CEILING FR Receiver green/yellow stripe (grounding) Using an orange wire connector from the hardware bag: Connect the 3 grounding wires (green, green/yellow stripe, or bare copper) coming from the ceiling, downrod, and ceiling bracket.

Canopy www.CasablancaFanCo.com Screw Holes Position the canopy so that, when lifted into place, the canopy fits into the hanging bracket as shown. Blades www.CasablancaFanCo.com Attach a blade tip to each blade using two blade tip screws, found in the hardware bag. Insert four blade assembly screws and four blade washers, found in the hardware bag, into each blade as shown. Position the notches in the outer rim of the globe so they line up with the tabs on the inside of the rim on the light kit. Carefully lift the globe up inside the light kit as far as it will go, then rotate the globe clockwise until it is held tightly in place by the four tabs. WARNING GLASS FALL HAZARD To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH, make sure that glass is properly secured.

Install the Wall Plate Install the wall plate that fits your setup (sold separately). 1. Use the screws you saved to reinstall into the light switch. Remove the Casablanca Wall Control frame. 2. Troubleshooting www.CasablancaFanCo.com Fan doesn’t work Excessive wobbling Remote does not work • Press a fan speed button. • Tighten all of the blade screws until they are snug. • Make sure the battery is installed correctly. • Turn the power off, support the fan carefully, and check that the hanger ball is properly seated. • Install a new battery. • Check the circuit breaker to ensure the power is turned on. • Check the wall control battery. • Make sure the blades spin freely.

Each set of receiver/transmitter is already paired. Simply install each receiver into a fan and use the appropriate transmitter to operate each fan.
