34O CEILING Ceiling Options OPTION 1 If you have a flat ceiling: 1. You will need a longer downrod (sold separately). 2. If your ceiling angle is greater than 34°, you will also need an Angled Mounting Kit (sold separately). Downrod (continued) KEEP! (not to scale) 8” & 3/8” 1.888.227.2178 STRIP CUT www.CasablancaFanCo.com ! KEEP Remove the pre-installed setscrew so that the downrod can be inserted. The wires can be cut, but leave at least 8” extending from the top of the downrod. Slide the adapter cover onto the downrod (for standard mount only), then hand tighten the downrod at least 4-5 full turns until it stops. 8” Raise the adapter cover. Tighten the setscrew with pliers. DO NOT HAND TIGHTEN.
Switch Housing & Light Kit Screw two housing assembly screws from the hardware bag halfway into the motor housing. It does not matter which two screw holes you choose. www.CasablancaFanCo.com Feed the wire plug through the center hole of the upper switch housing, then wrap keyhole slots around the screws and twist counterclockwise. 1.888.227.2178 Insert the third screw, found in the hardware bag, into place and then tighten all three screws.
Switch Housing & Light Kit (continued) Partially install two of the switch housing screws found in the bag. Connect the plugs from the upper and lower switch housings. Make sure to line up the colored markings on the connectors. www.CasablancaFanCo.com Align the keyhole slots in the light kit housing with the housing assembly screws.
Switch Housing & Light Kit (continued) Install a bulb into each of the sockets. When necessary, replace with bulbs of the same type and wattage. www.CasablancaFanCo.com Lower the glass into the light cage. 1.888.227.2178 Partially install the six light cage screws, found in the hardware bag, into the light cage. Make sure the light kit is securely attached to the upper switch housing. Failure to properly secure all 3 assembly screws could result in the light kit falling.
Switch Housing & Light Kit (continued) Align the partially installed screws in the light cage with the keyhole slots in the light trim ring. Lower the fan onto the light cage. Engage all six screws into the keyhole slots. www.CasablancaFanCo.com Ensure all six light kit screws are engaged with the light trim ring. Rotate the light trim ring counterclockwise to lock the light cage into place. Tighten all six light kit screws. Rotate the blade irons as needed.

Wiring www.CasablancaFanCo.com Note: If using the optional Low Profile canopy, you may need to carefully tilt the fan assembly at an angle while connecting the wires. OM CEILING FR Be sure to tilt the fan AWAY from the opening in the ceiling bracket and ensure the fan does not fall. green/yellow stripe (grounding) Using an orange wire connector from the hardware bag: Connect the 3 grounding wires (green, green/yellow stripe, or bare copper) coming from the ceiling, downrod, and ceiling bracket.

Canopy www.CasablancaFanCo.com Screw Holes Position the canopy so that, when lifted into place, the canopy fits into the hanging bracket as shown. Phillips Head Screw To access the battery compartment, remove the small Phillips head screw that secures the battery door to the transmitter assembly. The battery should be installed with the positive (+) side up. Replace with a CR2032 battery when necessary. 1.888.227.2178 The remote transmitter is already paired to the receiver and ready to use.
Operation, Maintenance & Cleaning The Fan Off button found on the right side of the transmitter turns the fan off. Buttons 1 through 4 turn on the fan and control the speed. • (1) Extra Low • (2) Low • (3) Medium www.CasablancaFanCo.com The up arrow and down arrow buttons control the lights on the fan. Quickly press and release the up or down arrow to turn the lights off and on. Hold the up or down arrow to raise or dim the light level.
Operation, Maintenance & Cleaning (continued) www.CasablancaFanCo.com 1.888.227.2178 Safe-Exit The Safe-Exit Program gives you about thirty seconds of light when you turn the lights off to exit the room before the lights go out. To use Safe-Exit: • Press the Fan Off button for at least three seconds to initiate the Safe-Exit Mode. • The lights will flash for visual confirmation. • The lights will stay on 50% brightness for 15 seconds and then begin to dim.
Troubleshooting www.CasablancaFanCo.com Fan doesn’t work Excessive wobbling Remote does not work • Press a fan speed button (1-4). • Tighten all of the blade and blade iron screws until they are snug. • Make sure the battery is installed correctly. • Push the motor reversing switch firmly left or right to ensure that it is engaged. • Check the circuit breaker to ensure the power is turned on. • Make sure the remote control battery is working. • Make sure the blades spin freely.
Troubleshooting (continued) www.CasablancaFanCo.com Installing Multiple Fans with Independently Operating Remote Controls 1.888.227.2178 Installing One Fan Operating on Multiple Remote Controls To install multiple fans with independently operating remote controls, there is no need to perform any pairing procedures. Each set of receiver/transmitter is already paired. Simply install each receiver into a fan and use the appropriate transmitter to operate each fan.
