Tighten the knobs by hand (Figure 2). Although multi-viscosity oils (5W30, 10W30, etc.) improve starting in cold weather, these multi-viscosity oils will result in increased oil consumption when used above 32°F. Check your engine oil level more frequently to avoid possible damage from running low on oil.

C A Generac 2700PSI High Pressure Washer R E N E G How to Use the Dual Lance and Adjust Pressure Applying Detergent IMPORTANT: Use soaps designed specifically for pressure washers. Household detergents could damage the pump. IMPORTANT: You must attach all hoses and turn on the water source fully before you start the engine. Starting the engine without all the hoses connected and without the water turned on will damage the pump.
C A Generac 2700PSI High Pressure Washer R E N E G Turn the chemical valve handle clockwise fully until it stops. This puts the gun into high pressure mode. Keep the spray gun a safe distance from the area you plan to spray. Apply a high pressure spray to a small area and then check the surface for damage. If no damage is found, you can assume it is okay to continue cleaning. Start at top of area to be rinsed, working down with same overlapping strokes as you used for cleaning.
C A Generac 2700PSI High Pressure Washer R E N E G GENERAL MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS Check Detergent Hose Examine the filter on the detergent hose and clean if clogged. Hose should fit tightly on barbed fitting. Examine hose for leaks or tears. Replace the filter or hose if either is damaged. The warranty of the high pressure washer does not cover items that have been subjected to operator abuse or negligence.
C A Generac 2700PSI High Pressure Washer R E N E G Remove additional debris by back flushing water supply through dual lance (Figure 15). Back flush between 30 to 60 seconds. Back flush both lances by turning chemical valve handle. Nozzle Maintenance If the nozzle on the dual lance becomes restricted or clogged with foreign materials, such as dirt, excessive pump pressure may develop. If this nozzle becomes partially clogged, it can cause a pulsing sensation during use.
