3. SETUP AC Power The Obey™ 4 D-Fi™ 2.4 has an auto-ranging, external power supply that can work with an input voltage range of 100~240 VAC, 50/60 Hz; it runs on 12 VDC, 500 mA. To determine the product’s power requirements (circuit breaker, power outlet, and wiring), use the current value listed on the label affixed to the product’s back panel, or refer to the product’s specifications chart. The listed current rating indicates the product’s average current draw under normal conditions.
4. OPERATION The Obey™ 4 D-Fi 2.4GHz adds wireless functionality to the original Obey™ 4. In addition to controlling products with DIP switches, an unlimited number of Freedom™-series products and other D-Fi™ 2.4GHz products can be commanded from this single, compact board. Configuration DIP Switch Addressing To operate the control board: 1. Connect this product to a suitable power outlet. 2.
RGB Fade This mode will fade all connected products in unison as the colors change. 1. Select one or more products with the Product Selection (Fixture) buttons <1> through <4>. 2. Press until the LED for the desired product lights. 3. Use the fader to set the speed of color change cycle 4. Use the fader to set the transition time between colors. 5. RGB Offset RGB Offest is a built-in color-fade program that will create a serial chase through products 1~4. 1. Press and at the same time. 2. Use the fader to set the speed of chase. 3. Color Macros These preset color macros have varying intensities. 1.
Blackout Darkens all products. The button works in conjunction with the fader or alone. To use fading blackout: 1. Select one or more products with the Product Selection (Fixture) buttons <1> through <4>. 2. Adjust the fader to the desired value to select how quickly the lights will fade out. 3. Press until the LED indicator lights. 4. To cancel this mode for a single product (series), make sure is activated and is set to 0.
5. MAINTENANCE Product Maintenance Dust build-up can cause overheating. This can lead to mechanical wear. To maintain optimum performance, clean the product at least twice a month. However, usage and environmental conditions can contribute to increased cleaning frequency. To clean the product, follow the instructions below: • Unplug the product from power. • Wait until the product is room temperature.
