Making Your First Call

• Charge the new battery before first time use. When the battery is being charged, the status

indicator light illuminates and the bars of the charging status icon on phone screen scrolls.

When charging is completed, the status indicator light goes off and the bars of the charging

status icon stops scrolling. You can use the phone during the charging process, however, it

will take longer to fully charge the battery.

• When battery power is low, low battery message will appear on the screen. Charge the bat-

tery immediately.

• If battery power runs out completely, the phone will be turned off automatically.

• When charging a completely drained battery, it will take longer for the charging status icon

to appear on phone screen.

of the phone. Note the direction of the con-

nector when inserting.
