Enabling Power Options
The Power Options are enabled through the control panel in your
Windows system. With other operating systems you may also have
some form of power management available, so check your documen-
tation.
You may conserve power through individual components or
throughout the whole system.

BIOS Settings
You may use the CPU
Throttle setting to
manage power in the
BIOS. This is especial-
ly useful for users who
are interested in run-
ning DOS or other non
"Plug-N-Play” OS’s
(“CPU Throttle (Ad-
vanced Menu)” on
page 5 - 13).
Any settings made in
the BIOS will be over-
ridden by the Power
Management settings
in the OS.
