offiveseconds.
Releasethekeywhentheenginestarts.
NOTICE:Operatingthevehicleimmediatelyafterstartingcouldcauseenginedamage.Allowthe
enginetowarmupforseveralminutesbeforeoperatingthevehicle.
6. Iftheenginedoes notstartwithinfiveseconds,returntheignitionswitchtothe
“ON”position
andwaitfiveseconds.Repeatsteps5and6untiltheenginestarts.
7. VarytheengineRPMslightlywiththethrottletoaidinwarm‐upuntiltheengineidlessmoothly.
8. Releasetheparkingbrakebeforedriving.
StoppingtheEngine
1. Releasethethrottlepedalcompletelyandbraketoacompletestop.
2. Placethetransmissioninneutral.
3. Settheparkingbrake.
4. Stoptheengine.
Braking
1. Releasethethrottlepedalcompletely.(Whenthethrottlepedalis releasedcompletelyand
enginespeedslowstonearidle,thevehiclehasnoenginebraking.)
2. Pressonthebrakepedalevenlyandfirmly.Practicestartingandstopping(usingthebrakes)
untilyou'refamiliarwiththecontrols.
ParkingtheVehicle
1. Stopthevehicleonalevelsurface.Whenparkinginsideagarageorotherstructure,besurethat
thestructureiswellventilatedandthatthevehicleisnotclosetoanysourceofflameorsparks,
includinganyappliancewithpilotlights.
2. Placethetransmissioninneutral.
3.
Settheparkingbrake.
4. Stoptheengine.
5. Removetheignitionkeytopreventunauthorizeduse.





