5.3 Reference Equipment for Type Approval
The Thales reference setup submitted to type approve EXSx2-W (including a special approval
adapter for the DSB75) is shown in the following figure
1
:

1. For RF performance tests a mini-SMT/U.FL to SMA adapter with attached 6dB coaxial attenuator is cho-
sen to connect the evaluation module directly to the GSM/LTE/GNSS test equipment instead of employ-
ing the SMA antenna connectors on the EXSx2-W-DSB75 adapter as shown in Figure 70. The following
products are recommended:
