SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS Safety Data Sheets are intended for occupational-use products; this is a consumer-
use product. Wear protective gear as noted in Section 8 of this Safety Data Sheet
and follow the handling precautions outlined in Section 7 of this Safety Data Sheet.
Use product in accordance with label instructions.
Product is slippery when spilled.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS Do not discharge into drains, sewers, or waterways.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES Deny entry to unnecessary personnel.
CONTAINMENT AND CLEAN-UP MEASURES Consumer spills: Absorb with earth, sand or other non-combustible material and
transfer to containers for later disposal. Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g.
cloth, fleece). Clean surface thoroughly to remove residual contamination.
Industrial spills: Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Dike the spill area,
where this is possible. Absorb liquid with an inert material such as dirt or sand.
Dispose of material and container in accordance with federal, state, local, and
regional regulations. Following product recovery, flush area with water.
SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS Keep away from heat, sparks, flame, or any other ignition source.
When using do not smoke.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and clothing.
Use in a well-ventilated area.
Do not directly inhale mist from this product.
Wash hands after using this product.
Avoid release into the environment.
Do not empty into drains.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. Do not puncture or incinerate.
Store locked up.
Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool.
Protect from sunlight.
Store away from heat, open sparks, open flame, or any other ignition source.
Do not expose to temperatures above 120F/48.9C.
Keep away from food, drink, and animal feed.
Keep container closed when not in use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store away from incompatible materials (see section 10 of the SDS).
