Quick Start
You wish to heat food or drinks shortly at the highest power setting?
1. Start the microwave immediately by pressing the button
QUICK START / START.
2. Cooking starts immediately, with every press of the button increas-
ing the cooking time by 60 seconds. The microwave works at
100 % power.
Grilling
For grilling please use the grilling grid. Use suitable heat-resistant
tableware or place the food to be grilled directly on the grid.
“Preheating” the grill is not necessary, as the grill produces radiant
heat immediately.
Proceed as follows for roasting and scalloping:
1. Press the MICRO. / GRILL / COMBI. button once. Then use the
rotary knob to select the mode (
).
2. Press the MICRO. / GRILL / COMBI. button to conrm your settings.
3. Use the rotary knob to set the desired cooking time between 5 sec-
onds and 95 minutes. Example:

NOTE:
After half of the time has elapsed, several signal sounds will alert
you to turn the grilled food such as meat or sausages. If the door
remains closed, the appliance starts again after approximately
60 seconds. If you would like the appliance to continue operation
sooner, press the QUICK START / START button.

Open and close the door at its handle only.
Combination of Grill and Microwave Operation
When using these settings, microwave and grill operate in turns dur-
ing the pre-set time with the following ratio:

onds and 95 minutes.
4. Press the QUICK START / START button to start operation.
Tips on Combined Operation
If you prepare food using the combined microwave-grill functions you
should note the following:
For large, thick foods such as roast pork the microwave time is cor-
respondingly longer than for small, at foods. However, in the case
of the grill it is the other way round. The closer the food is to the
grill, the faster it turns brown. This means that when large joints are
prepared using combined operation the grilling time may be shorter
than for smaller joints.
Please use the grid for grilling in order to achieve rapid and even
browning. (Exception: large, thick items of food are grilled directly on
the rotating plate!)
