Proceed as follows to clean the lter unit:
1. Empty the dust container as described above.
(Steps 1 - 4)
2. Disassembly of the lter unit
2.1 Turn the coarse lter counter-clockwise from the
guide rails. Pull the coarse lter from the dust
collector.
2.2
Turn the HEPA lter counter-clockwise from the guide
rails. Pull the HEPA lter from the dust collector.
3. You can brush out the HEPA lter. In case of heavy
staining, clean the lters under running water.
4. Let the lters air-dry completely before retting them!
5. Wipe the dust collector with a damp cloth and then wipe
it dry.
6. Assembly of the lter unit
Refer to the adjacent gure.
6.1 Set the HEPA lter with its
3 guides to the inner circle.
Tighten the lter clockwise.
6.2 Set the coarse lter over the
HEPA lter with its 3 guides
in the outer circle. Tighten the
coarse lter clockwise.
CAUTION:
If the lters are not tightened, dirt will enter the engine.
This can damage the motor.
7. Close the bottom plate.
Outlet Filter
The appliance is also equipped with an outlet lter.
The cover of the lter is located on the back of the appliance.
1. Turn the cover counter-clockwise.
2. Remove the non-woven lter and wash it.
3. Let the non-woven lter dry completely in the air, before
reinserting it into the appliance.
4. Close the exhaust lter with the cover. Turn it clockwise
until it is attached to the appliance.
Cleaning
WARNING:
• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the device in water
for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric
shock or re.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
• Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.
• For cleaning of the lters, read the chapter “Maintenance”.
Troubleshooting
