This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Do not immerse the device into water for cleaning. Please follow the
instructions as stipulated in the chapter “Cleaning”.

Unpacking the Device
1. Remove the device from its packaging.
2. Remove all of the packaging material such as foils, lling
material, cable holders and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery.
4. Check the appliance for any transport damage to prevent a
hazard.
NOTE:
There may still be dust or production residues on the surface
of the device. We recommend that you quickly wipe off the
housing with a damp cloth.
Assembly instructions
The device must be completely assembled before initial opera-
tion!
NOTE:
You will need a Phillips screwdriver of medium size for
the assembly.
The screws for the assembly are preassembled on the
bottom of the tower.
Also observe page 3.
1. Place the tower upside down and hold it down.
2. Unscrew the 3 preassembled screws from the bottom of
the tower. Place them within easy reach.
3. Secure the base plate (A) to the tower with a screw.
4. Feed the power supply cord through the opening of the
base plate (B).
5. Insert the base plate (B) into the base plate (A) on the
tower.
6. Secure the base plate (B) to the tower with two screws.
7. Feed the power supply cord through the cable guide at the
edge of the base plate.
8. Place the ventilator with the assembled base plate onto a
stable, level surface.
Putting into Service
Electrical Connection
Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that
the mains voltage to be used matches that of the device.
You can nd this information on the nameplate.
Connect the device to a duly installed protective contact
socket.
