4.0 “INSTRUMENT FILE MANAGER” (DATA LOGGER TRANSFER)
This operation allows you to transfer a Data Logger from your measuring instrument to a PC and then print it or save it in a file.
4.1 SIMPLIFIED PROCEDURE
4.2 DETAILED PROCEDURE
4.2.1 HOW TO TRANSFER A DATA LOGGER
a) Connect your instrument to a PC by following the procedure described in paragraph 1.0,
b) Click on “Instrument” on the instrument bar and select “Instrument file manager”,
c) Wait for the file list to download on the PC,
d) The folder Read File will be shown on the screen. Open the Logger folder (Fig. 4.1),
e) All logger files will be listed (Fig. 4.2).
f) Click twice on a file logger to visualise it (fig. 4.2)
4.2.2 HOW TO PRINT A FILE LOGGER
a) Open the Logger folder, (See Fig. 4.1)
b) Select and open the Logger file you want to print,
c) Click on “File” on the instrument bar and select “Print”,
d) Configure the print settings and press “OK” to confirm.
4.2.3 HOW TO SAVE A DATA LOGGER ON A PC
a) Open a Logger file, (See Fig. 4.1)
b) Select and open the Logger file you want to save,
c) Click on “File” on the instrument bar and select “Save as”,
d) Chose the location where you want to save the file and press “Save”.
HOW TO TRANSFER A DATA LOGGER FROM AN INSTRUMENT TO A PC
1. Carry out all the necessary connections (see paragraph 1.0)
2. Click on

3. Wait for the complete file list to download on your instrument
4. Click on the Logger folder and open the Logger file
5. Select one of the following options:
- Print a logger file by pressing
on the instrument bar (see 4.2.2)
- Save a data logger in your PC by pressing
in the instrument bar (see 4.2.3)
- Delete a data logger by pressing
in the “Instrument File Manager” window (see 4.2.4)
- Export a Data Logger in an Excel or Word file (see 4.2.5).
